MIRADA AL JUEGO-CARTAS EXCLUSIVAS GLAS

Retomando el anterior articulo de esta seccion ahora daremos una GrandmasteroftheSixSamuraiSTON-EN-ScRpequeña mirada a las cartas a las que solo tenemos acceso fuera de japon. Una de las principales cartas de este tipo es sin duda el GRAND MASTER OF THE SIX SAMURAIS sin el cual los decks de  samurais tal vez no serian tan competitivos, le siguieron el VOLCANIC ROCKET y GEMINI SUMMONER, los tres  enfocados en darle respaldo a los decks que podian armarse con el set en que salieron y fueron realmente muy buenas opciones, el master es la base del deck de samurais, el rocket acelera bastante el poder de destrucion de los volcanics y el summoner aunque no se ve mucho en juego es una excelente opcion por su efecto de no ser destruido en batalla una vez por turno (aunque el efecto de reinvocar geminis esta desperdiciado), sin embargo estan un tanto limitados al ser parte de decks “tematicos”.

Con la salida de Gladiator’s assault upper deck nos trae 10 nuevas esxclusivas que ahora no solo  se centran en el tema del set sino otras tantas nos dan un extra para otras estrategias.

Hablemos de las que si se centran en el set, las que tratan de las bestias gladiadoras: la primera es GLADIATOR BEAST TORAX nos  permite, al igual que las demas bestias, regresarla al deck para ganar su efecto en este caso tomar una carta mas del deck.Su efecto no es basGladiatorBeastOctaviusGLAS-EN-ScRtante bueno si no contamos con presencia en el campo y puede ser sustituido por alguna otra carta si lo que necesitaramos fuera tomar una mas del deck . Otra gladiator beast es GLADIATOR BEAST OCTAVIUS esta carta es la mas fuerte en cuanto atk points de las GB su efecto nos permite destruir una carta boca abajo de magia o trampa si fue traido al campo por el efecto de otra GB, lo malo es que esta al regresar al deck no nos trae una Gb “relevo” y necesitamos descartar una carta si queremos que se mantenga en el campo y creo que si lo vale.

Otra es TEST TIGER si controlas una gladiator beast puedesTestTigerGLAS-EN-UR  convocarla especialmente, puedes tributra esta cart para regresar una gladiator beast del campo ald eck y convocar otra del mismo , esta convocacion se considera como si fuera por el efecto de una gladiator beast. Esat carta es un excelente respaldo y nos permite tarer cualquier gladiatior sin problema a excepcion de ALEXANDER  o SAPARTACUS  que requieren ser invocado por una bestia en especifico. Sin lugar a dudas sera muy vista en los mazos de bestias gladiadoras ya que es una excelente combinacion para aprovechar efectos como el de de la GB secutor que nos permite traer dos del deck  y con la ventaja de poder convocarla especialmente nos da muchas opciones.

La siguiente es DEFENSIVE TACTICS solo se puede activar si DefensiveTacticsGLAS-EN-SR controlamos un gladiator beast, los moustruos que controlemos no podran ser destruidos en batalla este turno y el daño de batalla que tomemos sera reducido a cero, al final esta carta es regresada al fondo del deck. Sin dudas esta carta sera muy recurrida en estos decks ya que es una version de una vieja pero increible carta WABOKU, nos permite hacer que nuetras GB debiles sobrevivan lo suficiente para lograr sus efectos y puede ser activada tanto en nuestro turno como el de nuestro oponente, no sera raro ver 3 copias de esta en combinacion con tres de waboku en estos mazos. Estas son las cartas exclusivas centradas en las GB sin lugar a dudas veremos mucho juego de esta cartas.

 

Las 3 siguientes fueron escogidas mediante un concurso organizado DragonIceGLAS-EN-ScR por ude y 4kids donde los fans diseñaban cartas que serian hechas cartas reales para el juego. La primera es DRAGON ICE: cuando tu oponente convoca un moustruo especialmente tu puedes descarta runa carta para incvocara dragon ice de la mano o del cementerioy solo puede existir un dragon ice en tu lado del campo. un buen efecto y su alto status en def:2200 nos permite por lo menos detener un cyber dragon aunque su atk no es mucho(1800) es una excelente carta que nos permitira hacer unas jugadas bastante locasTongueTwisterGLAS-EN-ScR(sugerencias para su uso en el area de comentarios por favor) despues analisaremos esta carta a fondo pues sin duda lo merece. Otra es TONGUE TWISTER, si esta carta es convoca por  tributo cuando es enviada del campo al cementerio  toma dos cartas y remuevela del juego. Tiene un efecto bastante interesante que sin duda alguien lograra aprovechar apesar de tenerunos status bastante bajos par un moustruo de nivel 6, el arte es bastante gracioso y creo es uan excelente referencia a la frase “se te lenguo la traba”. La ultima de las cartas de este concurso es SKREECH cuando esta carta sea destruida en SkreechGLAS-EN-ScRbatalla selecciona dos moustruos de atributo agua de tu deck y  mandalos al cementerio (alguien dijo la rana). Una carta por demas util, es agua la podemos buscar por el efecto de mother grizli y realizar un monton de combinaciones para llevar al cementerio lo que nos conviene y depues usarlo desde ahi ya sea para remover, convocar especialmente desde el cementerio o cualquier otra cosa, sin lugar a dudas los deck de base agua se veran super beneficiados por esta carta.

 

Otra carta exclusiva es ROYAL FIRESTORM GUARDS, cuandoRoyalFirestormGuardsGLAS-EN-ScR convocamos de manera normal esta carta podemos seleccionar 4 moustruos tipo pyro , regresarlos al deck y tomar dos cartas, esta carta sin dudas hara maravillas en los decks volcanic pues nos permitira reciclar los shell y los scattershots incluso nos permite reciclar otras copias de si misma  y teniendo tantas opciones pyro para hacer daño pero que no duran en el campo sera un dolor de cabeza, ademas sus status no estan nada mal, recuerden su efecto es cuando se convoca normal asi que ya saben ahi hay pulling.

VEIL OF DARKNESS otra carta de estas, nos permite durante nuestra draw phase si tomamos un moustruo dark revelarlo enviarlo al cementerio y tomar una mas, lo genial en esto es que el efecto se puede seguir usando mientra siguas tomando moustruos dark. Sin lugar a dudas esta carta vera mucho juego y sera un arma mortal en las manos expertas.

La ultima de las cartas exclusicas de GlAS es SECURITY ORB  solo la podemso activar cuando un oponente declare ataque, cambiamos la posicion del moustruo atacante. Si esta carta es destruida boca abajo por el efecto de una magia o trampa de nuestro oponente y es enviada al cementerio destruimos una carta en el campo. Esta carta tiene un efecto interesante ya que es al combinacion de los efectos de enemy controller y dark coffin , nos defiende de ataques fuertes y al cambiar el atacante a defensa nos da muchas opciones para el siguiente turno y su segundo efecto puede ser muy bien aprovechado contra el uso de dust tornado, typhonn, heavy y otras cartas que en lugar de ser +1 se voltearan en contra del oponente esta carta tiene mucho potencial pero sera dificilmente aprovechada pues usarla apropiadamente es un poco complejo ( si yo tambien pienso en aquellos que solo usan el enemy controller para cambiar un moustruo a defensa).

En fin a mi parecer estas cartas tienen bastante potencial y las veremos mucho en un futuro tal vez no como stapless pero si en excelentes decks competitivos hasta cierto nivel. La proxima ves analizaremos la que para muchos es la estrella del set la famosisima necroface. Hasta la proxima.

Carta De La Semana – Zombie Master

Ya hace varios años que salio la expansion preferida de los zombies, PGD en el 2003 y han pasado cosas con ellos muy diferentes desde entonces, desde no ser mas que un tipo de moustro no muy popular hasta hoy en dia, a ya ganar torneos premier en USA, en aquellos tiempo la tortuga piramide que solo sacaba del deck al patrician of darkness de 2000 de atk, no representaban mayores problemas para un control o golpeador de esos dias, despues pasaron als expansiones y obtuvieron gran soporte con el poderoso Vampire Lord, de bastante buen precio y efecto para esos dias, era muy dificil matar a un Vampire Lord en aquellos dias y con la posibilidad de regresarlo una vez destruido con el book of life, las cosas mejoraron para los zombies, despues con la llegada de IOC, aparecio el mejor zombie para este deck “Ryu Kokki”, en aquellos dias un de los pocos moustros de un tributo con 2400 de atk y efecto y muy buena carta para los zombies, pero IOC trajo consigo el deck mas poderoso de toda la historia del juego, un deck casi invensible y solo era superado por uno igual, me refiero al deck “Caos” y los zombies se retiraron de nuevo igual que cualquier otro deck hasta que llego la lista de baneos, despues de eso los zombies han sido una buena forma de juego por sus buscadores y capacidad de regersar al campo, pero la carta que los puso en la escena de los campeonatos es de TAEV y como el titulo lo dice “Zombie Master”, una carta de 1800 atk 0 def pero su efecto es la que lo permite ser llamado como su nombre lo dice, el maestro de los zombies.

Su efecto “Una vez por turno puedes enviar una carta moustro de tu mano al cementerio para invocar especialmente un zombie de nivel 4 o menor de ambos cementerios” como puede esta carta meter a los zombies al juego de nuevo, primero habria que mencionar que esta carta tuvo ya un cambio de rulling desde su salida donde en principio no se podia activar el efecto del ZM si no habia un zombie en el cementerio que cumpliera las condiciones de este aunque la carta de moustro enviada fuera un zombie legal, esto se cambio despues a lo contrario, a que pudiera activar el efecto descartando un zombie nivel cuatro de tu mano y renacerlo sin que hubiera zombie en el cementerio, esto abrio las posibilidades este moustro para controlar el juego y explicaremos por que.

Ya algunos se habran enfrentado a un deck zombie donde el zombie master premite al jugador robar cartas de su deck usando su efecto pero combinandola con la ya clelebre “Card of save Return”. permitiendo activar una o dos o hasta tres copias del CSR. Funciona asi, activar CSR y despues invocar al ZM descartar ya sea un ZM o una “Pyramid Turtle” y renacer ese mismo moustro, robando cartas por el CSR permitiendonos mas posibilidades de juego robando nuestras cartas defensivas y de ataque para terminar con nuestro oponente. Esto es el combo que permite el ZM ya que al ser destruido y por su efecto y la CSR pudimos haber robado un “book of life” y regresarlo al juego robando mas cartas y recordemos que la tortuga piramide es capaz de buscarnos zombies muy poderosos (Ryu Kokki, Il Blud o MAs Zombie Master) que nos ayudaran a controlar el campo, dandonos una victoria con el poder zombie. Ya explicado el potencial de esta carta mencionemos como poder detenrla, primero que nada esta carta funciona por si sola devido a lo mencionado de las tortugas piramide, pero duelistas y lectores la carta a detener en ese deck es CSR si dejan viva esta carta que al parecer es inofensiva para usar nuestras heavy storm o Thyfon es el arma que los zombies usaran para derrotarte, asi que ya lo sabes primero detener CSR para evitar que tu opnente robe cartas gratis por un efecto gratis. Las opciones que ahora estan a la vista, dust tornado, twister y el ya usandose Mei-Kou , Master of Barriers.
